Would You Rather?

Would you rather never have to do homework again or never have to clean your room again?

In your response, consider the following:

  • How would never doing homework impact your school experience and free time?
  • How would never having to clean your room change your routine and responsibilities at home?
  • Which task would you prefer to be free from, and why?
  • Provide examples of how much time you spend on each task to explain your decision.

Your response should be at least five sentences long. Once you’ve posted your comment, read through your classmates’ responses and reply to at least three of them. When replying, focus on adding to the conversation, agreeing or disagreeing respectfully, and making connections to your own thoughts.

  1. I would rather to never do homework again because it isnt hard to clean your room, and or if your room is already clean then your good, but if people are really that lazy to pick never clean their room again then thats crazy.

    1. I agree with Kevin T because its not hard to clean your room unless you have severe depression and cant get out of bed.

  2. I would rather never have to do homework again because cleaning my room is pretty easy and if I dont clean it then it will get really messy and I don’t wanna sleep in a messy room and bed because you can also get bed bugs and spiders in your room if you stop cleaning it.

  5. I would rather never have to do homework again than never clean my room again, because homework is more time-consuming. If you keep your room tidy most of the time, cleaning it won’t take too long. On the other hand, homework takes a long time if you do not understand, or if it is a hard task. And, homework is usually given every week, and due the same week/the next week. So I conclude that never having to do homework again is more efficient than never having to clean my room again.

  6. I would rather not doing homework because I could just do classwork and do all my work in class cause it’s not home but I chose not doing homework because if i didn’t clean my room it would have been so gross and we need hygiene so no.

Another reason why I would rather never do homework again is because homework is confusing if you didn’t pay any attention during class on how to do it, and you wouldn’t have anyone help you understand it better. One more reason why I would rather never do homework again is because I get to spend time with my family and don’t have to worry about anything while I am home. One reason why I didn’t chose “never clean your room again” is because my room would always get stinky and always have some weird type of since on my body.

    I would prefer not to have to do homework anymore. I couldn’t stand my room being very dirty and without cleaning that would be a little disgusting for me.

  10. I would rather never do homework again because i like keeping my room clean. And if i don’t clean my room it’ll get dirty and i do not want a dirty room. The garbage can attract insects, rats, mice, and other wildlife. I would rather clean my room because i don’t want outside animals in my room and i do not want to walk on trash every time i need to leave or go to my room.

  11. I would rather never do homework again, because I actually like cleaning up my room and I can’t sleep In a dirty room. Not being able to do homework is the best option because you have more free time and less stress from worrying about homework. if I didn’t have to do any homework I would be super happy and I would always be playing outside.
