Your turn: Continue the story in 4–6 sentences. (1) What clue reveals the time period? (2) What decision does the traveler make after noticing that clue?

Help: “I realized I had arrived in ___ when I saw ___. I decided to ___ because ___.” Word bank: device, time, different, energy, familiar, strange, travel, past, future, change.

Required: Use two words from the bank naturally. Optional: Expand the story and use five or more.
