Would You Rather Writing Prompt: The Big Question

Would you rather explore outer space or the deep ocean?

Outer space includes planets, stars, moons, and galaxies far beyond Earth. Astronauts face zero gravity, extreme temperatures, and long periods away from home. The deep ocean exists right here on Earth, but it is just as mysterious. It contains crushing water pressure, total darkness, and sea creatures that look almost unreal.

This would you rather writing prompt asks you to think about discovery, risk, and curiosity. Which environment do you think would be more exciting to explore? Which one would be more dangerous? Which one could help humans learn more?

  1. I would rather explore the deep ocean because there are many species we haven’t yet discovered. In space, there is not much to explore. It takes light-years to find another object in space. The ocean is home to a diverse array of animals, plants, and stunning terrain. There’s a possibility I could find a new animal or living being. Though it’s more dangerous, I would rather explore the ocean since there are more things to surprise me.

  2. I would rather explore outer space because of the slight chance of seeing the Milky Way or seeing one of the moons of Jupiter. I would want to discover if you could ever stand on Saturn completely still or even be able to see one of Saturns rings. Additionally, I would want to experience being able to stand on the moon or do exploring research on Saturn or Jupiter and their 9 moons, I believe that if I put my hard work into it, I could research deeply about Jupiter or Saturn. Finally, I would rather explore outer space because you have a more chance of finding more info on certain planets then you do in a regular ocean, because if your exploring the deep ocean then you would have no chance of really seeing anything because you would need a flash light from how dark it is under the sea and you would have a high risk of running into an angel fish.

  3. I would rather explore the deep ocean than outer space. The reason I choose to explore the ocean is because only 5% of the ocean has been explored. The ocean has creatures that have not been seen yet and could be cool. In outer space there are planets, stars, and galaxies , but it’s mostly dark, so it’ll be hard to see. The ocean is just a better choice. Although, the ocean is also dark. There are simply cooler things to explore down there. All in all, I would rather explore the ocean than outer space.

  4. I would rather go to space. The reason why is because like the color of the planets, and the stars in the darkness. The reason why I might experience it is because it is to see it in real life. I have only seen it in pictures or in videos, I want to see it if it is true, and to feel what it feels like. that is the reason why I want to go to space.

  5. I would rather explore the deep ocean because it is closer to home than outer space. For example, the deep ocean is on earth but outer space is out of earth. Which makes it scarier to explore outer space where you might not be able to come back. Also in the deep ocean it might also be dangerous but there are many things to explore like animals or a different living being. Outer space is more difficult because you stay out of earth with nothing but the rocket ships. which that’s why I would rather visit the deep ocean then outer space.

  6. I would rather explore outer space because I think the stars will look nice. therefore I would also pick it because theres more things you can find up there and maybe even find some aliens. and I could probably be friends with the aliens too. In addition I didn’t pick explore the ocean because its scary down there and I could probably die if there’s sharks or maybe even a megaladon and in outer space you cant really die unless you have a space suit. yea those are my reasons.

  7. I would rather explore the deep ocean because you don’t have to be to far away from home and there would be new things to see. In space there’s not really anything new and it is very far from earth which could make it months just to be able to get home. The ocean is home to a massive amount of different animals but most haven’t even been discovered yet, and it is pretty likely you would see a new kind of creature. The ocean is filled with many new things so I would rather explore the ocean.

  8. I would rather explore the Deep ocean because the ocean is really wide. And big and there would be so much things to explore like sharks or .Fish and octopuses but it does look scary in the dark and I might experience. Something creep like no one knows if mermaids are real but if .I Was in the Deep ocean I could see if I could find one but I. Think they would kill you but I also can see scary fish like the angler fish its one .of My favorite fishes because there 200 different species of those. Fish and like I could see if I can find archives that could prove there was .Other fish we did’int know about

  9. I would rather space because theres nothing that can hurt me but it is dangerous.I chose this because the sea is too dangerous for people can explore. In space I might be able to find space rocks or diffrent worlds i can explore.

  10. I would rather go to outer space. I chose this because i want to see all the different planets and the different colors. I also want to see if it really looks like what people say it does. That is why I would rather go to outer space.

  11. I would rather explore deep space because of all the galaxies and planets that we could find, we could find different life forms and different plants and other things that we could possibly use for our earth and planet. The different planets could make a good source of a new livable planet that mabye we could move to Incase of emergencys, we could maybe find different foods, animals, and people that could alliance with us to make peace and idk. But I would rather explore space because of all the endless oprtunitys.

  12. I would rather explore the deep ocean because there are creatures we have yet to discover. There are so many creatures that are under the sea that I want to discover and explore. I want to discover these creatures because I could make history with the animals that we’ve never discovered.
