It’s time for an honest classroom competition reflection. Month after month, the other class keeps winning, and it’s starting to sting a little. But instead of giving up, we’re going to look deeper and figure out why this keeps happening. Reflection helps us learn from our mistakes and come back stronger.
When we think about each competition, a few patterns stand out. Sometimes we lose focus halfway through. Other times, we rush instead of taking time to plan. The other class doesn’t seem to do that—they stay calm, organized, and supportive of one another. This classroom competition reflection is your chance to look closely at what we can do better next time.
Ask yourself: How do we work as a team? Do we cheer each other on, or do we get frustrated when things go wrong? What could we learn from the other class’s attitude and teamwork? Maybe the key isn’t being perfect—it’s being consistent, communicating clearly, and refusing to give up even when things get tough.
Now, write your reflection below. Be specific and honest about what you’ve noticed. Think about effort, focus, and teamwork.
Write at least one paragraph (6–8 sentences). Include this line at the end:
“Next time, I will…” and describe what you’ll do differently to help the class succeed.
When you’re finished, check out the rest of our blog for more tips, ideas, and activities to help you learn and grow. Let’s work together to make learning fun, exciting, and something you look forward to every day!

We keep losing because instead of actually being locked in our class is messing around. Some people in the class are not doing anything while others are just messing around and getting them wrong. It’s mostly all the boys that are messing around and are not doing the work and I can name a few people who acually try. It’s mostly because the other class has caleb and caleb is the smartest in all 7th grade. We also loose cause we don’t work as a team and instead goof off. If we want to make Mr. Alexander proud we have to lock in and work as a class so we can win and get a favorite class frame.
Next time, I will try to stay focused and less distracted by my surroundings. I will try to support my team and put in effort. Being less distracted will help me receive better results and accuracy. If I take my time answering each question and do not rush through, I will get the correct answer almost every time. When we lose, it helps us reflect and motivates us to do better next time. Doing all of this will help us receive better results and a greater chance of winning.
I think we keep losing because all of us are not that good at math, or maybe we need to learn it again and probably because were all bumbs, we don’t foucus, listen, and other stuff.
I think we keep losing to the other class because some people from our class barely answer questions but even if they do answer they probably don’t get them right, but most of the time they just don’t buy things.
I think we keep losing because same people are not that good at math. And some people just buy the songs and they spant there money to much.
Next time, I will study the math that we are doing. Also trying my best to get the answer to each math question. Also help the other people who sit next to me to help them to answer their question. Also will do my best in the math games and take my time. I will help people in need. Also give them step by step how to answer the question they are on.
The reason why we keep losing to the other class is because they have more skilled people and a lot of the people in are class are dumb and don’t pay attention in class they don’t do there work and there are people and there always talking and being annoying all the time because they makes jokes out of everything and it distracts everybody.another reason why I think we keep losing is because kids in that class have hacks for the game (and I’m not giving names) another reason why is because people get 50% of the questions Incorect.
I think we keep losing to the other class because some of the people in this class are slackers and don’t pay attention to what they are supposed to be doing.
I think we keep on losing is because some people in the class don’t focus allot.
Or they don’t know the answer and just start to talk To others and then they will be lose focus two.
And some just don’t know the answer and just sit there waiting for the round to be over.
And some people just go on different websites so they don’t have to do it.
Or they just don’t care about it and Is fine with not caring about there work.
But next time i will focus allot more study and take my time so that we can all win.
I think we keep on losing to the other class because some of us are not focusing enough and not really paying attention to the questions and get distracted when our friends are talking to us or we just don’t know the answers. But Next time I will be more focused on the quiz and try to not get distracted.
One reason I think were losing to the other class is because of no one taking it seriously enough to try hard. another reasons why I think were losing is because of no motivation to try harder after the first loss. In addition to that mostly no body knew the answers to the questions, nor did they even try. Whilst some did try other spent their in game money on stupid stuff such as the music and preventing others vision. Next time i will play harder and more focused.
In my opinion I think the other class cepes on winning this class because this class needs to put effort in the games and more work because we keep on losing because we are slacker. that is why I think we need to put in the effort.
We keep losing because instead of actually being locked in our class is messing around and they are not focused. Some people in the class are not doing anything while others are just messing around and getting them wrong and they are not helping and. It’s mostly all the boys that are messing around and are not doing the work and I can name a few people who acually try like me, and Dylan and most of the people. It’s mostly because the other class has caleb and caleb is the smartest in all 7th grade. We also loose cause we don’t work as a team and instead goof off. If we want to make Mr. Alexander proud we have to lock in and work as a class so we can win and get a favorite class frame.
Ask yourself: How do we work as a team? We can improve our work if we communicate more as a classroom team.
Do we cheer each other on, or do we get frustrated when things go wrong? What could we learn from the other class’s attitude and teamwork? Be quieter and patient, don’t think about anything else, only about what we were asked to do.
The reason we are losing is because we are not locked in and also stop wasting money to change the song we could win. Also if we work as a team then we could win and stop losing to Ms. Shedd class. Another reason that we are losing is because people are all so sleeping in class so they don’t know the math. Also if we use our money well and not waste it on things we don’t need like changing the music and changing the wallpaper. If we do not waste our money to bring down our team and use our money for good and we could win and make Ms. Shedd class. Next time, I will not waste my money on things we don’t need so we can beat Ms. Shedd class next Mouth.

Be quieter and patient, don’t think about anything else, only about what we were asked to do.Sometimes we lose just because some don’t do their job or just don’t concentrate and just keep shouting and waiting to see who goes and does their partor there are also people who take advantage and use their phone or just go with their friends to talk or run around the classroom, which is something they shouldn’t do because it’s something the teacher didn’t ask them to do.
