Why We’re Writing About Dream Vacations
Have you ever closed your eyes and imagined the perfect trip? Maybe it’s walking on a white sandy beach, hiking through a rainforest, or exploring a famous city full of history and culture. Everyone has their own idea of a dream vacation, and today you’ll get the chance to share yours in writing.
Imagine Your Ideal Trip
For this warm-up, imagine that you can travel anywhere in the world with no limits. Money doesn’t matter, and you have all the time you need. First, think carefully about the place you would choose. Next, picture the experiences you’d want to have while you’re there. Finally, remember that the goal is to paint a picture with your words so your classmates can feel like they are right there with you.
Questions to Guide Your Writing
- Where would you go? Would it be a specific city, a country, or a type of place like mountains or islands?
- What would you do there? For example, think about activities, food, and adventures.
- Who would you bring with you? Would you travel with family, friends, or go on your own?
- Why would this trip be meaningful to you?
Writing Expectations
When you write your comment, make sure it is at least 5–7 sentences long. In addition, use descriptive language and details to make your dream vacation come alive. For instance, instead of just saying “I want to go to Paris,” you might describe eating fresh croissants at a café, climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower, and walking along the sparkling Seine River at night.

Sometimes it can be hard to start or finish, so here are some frames to guide you:

My dream vacation would be going to Hawaii because i’ve seen the beached online and they look so peaceful that I would love to visit there. I would love to be there because the vibes there just look like something that would suit me. Another reason I would love to go is because the people there look very nice eand I would love to be around people like that. The buildings there look very nice and I would love to take pictures of the buildings as memories. Some other reasons that I would love to go to Hawaii is because I have never been there and I would love to go some day whenever I am older. Lastly is because it looks very pet friendly and I would love for me to have my dog by the time I am able to go to Hawaii because it looks like a place that not just humans would like.

My dream vacation is going to Mexico and I am going but next year. I have never been to Mexico and want to go but my mom said that were gonna go as a family and that we would go in my dads truck. When we do go to Mexico were going to stay at my grandpa’s house.

My dream vacation would be to travel to Mexico, one of the things I would love to do there is ride dolphins and go swimming. I would want to try zip-lining too, this place is special to me because my family and I have so much fun here. If I could go anywhere in the world, this is where I would choose.
I would want to try to travel to South Korea, In Seoul, where I would adventure and find new activities and places. I would LOVE to try some of their varieties of food, I would also like to find new places to shop or to find new places to study for photography, I have a great bond with photography; I would LOVE to try some Japchae or some Mandu, Hotteok is so delicious! It’s like a pancake with sweet filling. I would bring my friends, in some cases if my family would even be willing to go, I would bring my mom, dad, sister, brother, and my grandparents; Of course I would want to go on my own, because I would take photographs of Seoul in certain parts of the day because Seoul is a beautiful country. This trip would be meaningful to me because of how I would love to find new things to do or new places to visit, but Seoul has been a place i’ve been wanting to go to as of lately, If I could go anywhere in the world this is what I would choose.

My dream vacation is going to Hawaii because it is really pretty and when everyone that goes to Hawaii it looks so fun. Another reason why i want to go to Hawaii for my dream vacation is because I love the water. I love the vibes and everything !
I would like to travel to Hawaii, because the water there is so clear and there is a lot of kind people, I went there when I was 5 year and I would like to visit again because 1 of my uncle live there and he sent my family photos of the clear water, I also have a friend that live there and I still remember when we went to the beach and it was so fun and the view was amazing and we would play soccer in the sand, I hope one day I will get to experience this trip again and talk to to my friend.

My dream vacation would be to travel to mexico. I would want to not spend a lot of time doing stuff, mainly just be with family. most of my family there I haven’t seen in 6-8 years. This would be my dream vacation, just living there for a bit, maybe go to the beach since its sunny most of the time. One main place that I would want to go to would be this restaurant( I forgot the name) I always go to when I visit mexico, the food is some of my favorite, its mainly Mexican food but they serve some Italian food.I would also want to enjoy the nice weather and beautiful views there such as some hills that provide amazing views. Another thing I would want to do would be to go on walks, these walks through the city I live in are wonderful since my home town doesn’t have any major buildings and only small houses. This is what my dream vacation would look like.

My dream vacation would be to travel to South Korea because of the food. Such as tteokbokki, kimbap, kimchi, and more. I can also get them for a cheaper price than here since I would be getting them from where they came from. Another reason why I would like to go there is because of the convenience stores. They have a lot of options and a bunch of the foods I like, also with microwaves, and seats to eat there. I would also want the chance to see cherry blossom trees up close instead of viewing pictures. That is why this would be my dream vacation.

I would want to go to Japan because of all the cool things that they have there. I would want to go to the city’s they have there and try all the food, japan looks and seems very cool they have robots that work at jobs and some are even waiters for people. Japan is very pretty with the mountains and the clear blue water and all of the old Japanese houses that still stand from years ago. The zen gardens and the pink trees make everything looks so calming. I would want to go on my own because I would want to see everything by my own and not have to worry about anyone else. I would stay in a house out in the mountains js for the view and to see how everything looks. I hope one day I will get to experience this trip in ral life.

Because as u said there are a lot of animals to see there the environment will be cool too and if it starts raining it will be even more cool. I would be living in the city napa in a nice 2 story house with a pool in the backyard and a side to go in.

I see your point, but I think going to Napa isn’t traveling because you are not traveling. I have different opinion. I believe Napa is not traveling since it is barely a 30-50 minutes drive. That is interesting, but I think another way to look at it is going to another country or another continent.

I want to try to go to japan because they have good rice. A nice place to sit and watch the sky. In there I will eat meat with rice or roman and visit the nice river they have. It will be quiet and nice to lay and watch the trees and the water going. In Japan they have cool things like the 300 old tree I want to visit. if I can go anywhere in the world, this is what I choose.

Also I would go to Tokyo because I would want to see the Tokyo tower because it looks nice. They also have some of the best street food because there is a street market at night I saw they have the best food I hope one day I will get to experience this trip in real life.
I would love to go to Los Angeles I will go to famous places like Dysney Land or The Jurasic Park. I think that could will be super good and also I will probably be there 1 week that’s look’s super intersting and fun to go. I will probably stay in a hotel and why not play some videogames. I will go with my family because I’m poor I just got 200$ that will not help me survive 1 week also I don’t know where the parks are at they are the only ones who know. So I will prefer to go with my family then go alone. It will be meaning for me because I have never go to Dysneyland and the Jurassi Park so it will be very meanin for me. I will love to go to Los Angeles also because I will not have to go to school :D.
I think my dream vacation would be Japan because there’s so many places that you can see and look at even just walking around Japan in the night or day it would always be so fun and almost not real because the buildings and everything looks so tall and when at night Japan can be one of the most fun and good looking city and when you go to buy food its so good and its always cheap.
My dream vacation would be to travel to London, because its a pretty place well some parts at least, but pretty sure there is a place where they have Harry Potter stuff or something like that. one thing I would want to do there is find a place that makes really good tea. London also has lots of Paddington stuff of course, and there’s also lots of history in London. this is why this would be my dream vacation.

My dream Vacation would be to travel to Hawwai,because of the beautiful water and nice tropical tree’s.Another reason why I want to travel there is because I want to see the Volacanos.I would also like to go fishing in there waters but it’s probrolly crowded because people love to swim in there beatiful blue water. The main reason I want to go there is because Its my great grandma’s place of birth and she passed away a few years back.This is why I would like to travel hear.
In my opinion I would like to go to Mexico for a vacation because it is very nice over there and there’s a ton of stuff to do over there like go walking to stores buy better snacks for cheaper and more.Therefore, their food is also very good which is one of the reasons I wanna go back I would also bring a friend to do some fun activity’s with them this place in meaningful to me because my cousins aunts and uncles live over there and I like visiting them.
