Running can significantly improve physical and mental health. As a form of aerobic exercise, running can reduce stress, improve heart health, and even help alleviate symptoms of depression.
Because of the social aspect of team sports, you learn how to handle yourself better in social situations. You may develop a sense of camaraderie and community, allowing you to maintain and nurture stronger relationships.
Do something that you can be proud of. Help your team win a meet. Beat your personal goal. The Track Team will give you multiple opportunities to show what you can do.
